Patient Interview #1
[Action]
[Upon waking up, a few things were abundantly clear to the Joker. One - someone had stolen his clothes. This simply would not do - those suits were expensive! Two, he could breathe again, and his skin no longer looks like a giant rash. That's certainly a positive sign - he doesn't remember getting the cure to his Titan poisoning, or getting into that Lazarus Pit, but he's sure that it'll come back to him sooner or later. Three, it's apparent that he's not in Gotham any more - he's probably lived in Gotham all his life (at least, that's how he remembers it at the moment), and he's never seen this many trees in one place, barring Poison Ivy's attempts to "return the land to its natural state" or whatever hippie nonsense she was spouting.
Looking around to try and find where he is, it doesn't take long for him to find the journal, and a quick look-through gives him all the information that he needs. Being trapped in another world doesn't faze him as much as it would other people - on the contrary, he finds it kind of funny. Here he was, on the verge of breaking out of one walled-in city, and now he's been thrown into another one!]
---
[It doesn't take long for him to reach the town, grab a few necessary items from the stores, and break into a random apartment (though thankfully, it's unoccupied - not that it would have stopped him if it wasn't, but it's probably for the best), so he considers what to do next. As much as he'd like to make a grandiose gesture announcing his return to health, he decides to hold off - first impressions are important after all. Even if he decided to celebrate by gutting a few passers-by, people would think that he's a thug or someone like Zsasz, rather than seeing him for the criminal genius that he is. He'll hold off until he's got something that's worth doing. And speaking of first impressions...]

Greetings, Luceti! No need to fill me in on all the little details about this situation - I think I've got the gist of it. It was certainly inconsiderate of our hosts to drop me a forest in such miserable weather, but I don't mind. [Actually, he's thinking of ways to kill them right now.] I'll just consider this to be a nice vacation - I could certainly use one.
This place seems pitifully small, so I'm sure I'll run into most of you eventually. I hope that, when I do, I'll brighten your day - after all, I always manage to put a smile on the face of everyone I meet!

[Not really voice or written or anything /just leaving this here]
No.
Not him.
Not here.
Robin's got too much sense to antagonize him this early on. He doesn't know enough about what the Joker's planning, and engaging the Joker without doing one's research is the fastest way into a hearse.
So for now, he's going to watch how this plays out. Who answers the Joker? Who gives him advice? Who's willing to be his ally? If he's lucky, he'll spill his location sooner than later.]
You certainly seem a cheerful fellow.

[But deadpan because it deserves asking.] How big is Gotham? [Because you know if it's just you and a cat, he's onto how not-so-fabulous those jokes might be okay.]

[Action!]
I've been told this is where newbies go if they need help with something. [Okay, so he overheard someone else talking about it - the details aren't important to him.] I'm just looking for some knick-knacks that I normally use in my comedy routine - squirting flowers, chattering teeth, that sort of thing. Any idea where I could find them?
[Action!]
Th-this is the place, alright. Welcome? Anything you might need... All of your stuff should be over at the item shop. If it's here. That would be the place to check!

[After that he pulls a face.]
Oh, please enlighten me with your wit, stranger. I am most curious if you are able to make me smile.
[He points at his face.]
Because this is my 'serious face', you see? Serious face is serious. As in how long cat is long.
A-he-hem... Greetings, ladies and germs! I just flew in from Gotham, and boy, are my arms tired!
They are old people jokes.
[Jokes are a very serious matter.]
But I appreciate your facepaint, stranger. I appreciate it a lot. Are you from a circus?

It'll be the first time he's ever run into someone like that out of costume, though.]
[action]
He'll be wandering around the store aimlessly, laughing to himself any time he finds something and imagining what he could use it for before stuffing it into a duffel bag that he found. Even if Jason doesn't recognize the voice (which is entirely possible - alternate universes and all that jazz), the laughter might start to get on his nerves, or he could just happen to see the Joker during the clown's seemingly random travels down the aisles.]
[action]
But he doesn't have to get that close for things to click. Just a glance resolves him of any doubt.
...well, crap.
Gotta play it cool, he reminds himself. But he knows whatever's happening here can't be innocent.]
